Mother's Day project

It's been a while since my last post. I've let motherhood take up all my time. Anyway, for Mother's Day I did an art project with Chase.  We made cards for his grandmas and great grandmas.

Here's some pictures of Chase making the cards.

He loved it. I used Crayola washable finger paint. On the inside of the cards we wrote a message to each grandma and also tacked a picture of him creating his masterpiece.

Before you start, make sure you have a bath ready for when the project is over (clearly baby gets really messy.) Also the paint did not wash out of the sheet, so I guess that will be my arts and craft sheet for now on.

Voila, the finished project!

Family walk

Today we took the baby for a walk. He seemed to really like it. He was looking around in awe the whole time. This is a family tradition that I would like to start and keep. The fresh air is nice and I want to teach my son to enjoy the outdoors. There are so many kids these days that would rather sit inside in front of a tv and play video games, and I hope this doesn't happen to Chase. I'm also only five pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight, so im hoping that walking will help me get there. Here are a few pictures that we took along the way...

Introduction

I will start off by saying my name is Kelly and my husbands name is Keith. Three months ago our lives changed as we welcomed our beautiful son Chase into the world.  We have two dogs named Sam and Dean and a cat named Scotty.

I'm a stay at home mom and am starting this blog to share life experiences, DIY projects that we do, family memories, and my point of views / opinions.
WELCOME to my life and I hope that you enjoy the posts that are soon to come!
